Read Matthew 28:16-20

Read Matthew 28:16-20

16 The eleven disciples went to the hill in Galilee where Jesus had told them to go. 17When they saw him, they worshipped him, even though some of them doubted. 18Jesus drew near and said to them, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19Go, then, to all peoples everywhere and make them my disciples: baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, 20and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And I will be with you always, to the end of the age.”

Think

Jesus sends his disciples out to all nations - instructing them to baptise in the name of the Trinitarian God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  This act of grace is a sign that they have been included into God's family.  They belong.

Pray

Loving God, I thank you for my baptism; a sign that I belong to your family even when sometimes I wonder if I am worthy.  Teach me to live as your child and reflect you into the world.
